Application to a Rights Expression Language (REL)

The schema-awareness of the Contorsion XPath processor allow to enable the development of complex XML-based applications. An example can be found in the processing of IPR licenses expressed with the MPEG21 Rights Expression Language (MPEG21-REL). This complex language expresses inheritance relationships between for e.g. 'digitalResource' and 'resource', or 'grant' and 'resource'.
